Consultation and assessment

As founder of TotallySorted I will come to your home and give a FREE consultation and assessment lasting anything from 10 minutes to an hour. 

I like to get to know my customers and understand their lifestyle and requirements fully.

Housesitting/letting in tradespeople -

£15 per hour (includes overseeing work if necessary)

Organising and decluttering and other services -

£20 per hour
Full day - 7 hours (£140)

Other workers and costs

The customer will pay any trades people directly. If a removal person, vehicle or skip is required then the customer is also responsible for the cost of this.

Any items required for your home (eg. storage items, carpets, furniture) are paid for by the customer.

Travel costs

I am based in Leith and the first 15 miles are included in the hourly rate, which covers all of the Edinburgh and most of the surrounding area.  Thereafer a charge of 30p a mile applies. 

If I am required to use my car to obtain information or items on your behalf then the charge is also 30p a mile.

I will always keep travel costs to a minimum.

Confidentiality

Your home and information is handled in the utmost confidence and information is never disclosed to a third party without their consent.

Disclosure

I am fully Disclosure Scotland checked.

Insurance

I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance.  I ensure that anyone working in your house has the appropriate qualifications, certification and insurance.

Best Practice

All advice is given in good faith.  It is the client's decision on whether to dispose of or purchase items.  

Safety

Customers must not leave children under 16 unattended whilst I am in the house and must keep pets out of the way.

Payment

Payment by either cash or cheque is payable on completion of the work.
